China has announced plans to launch the world's first hotel where all core functions will be performed exclusively by robots. The project is set to become a major milestone on the path toward a fully automated hospitality industry. The hotel is currently under construction in Guangdong Province and is expected to welcome its first guests in 2027. The hotel complex will be managed by Pudu Robotics.
All key operations—including front desk services, check-in and check-out procedures, room service delivery, housekeeping, food preparation, and guest assistance—will be handled entirely by autonomous machines.
The project is a logical evolution of Pudu Robotics' existing expertise, as the company has already successfully deployed service robots across retail, dining, and professional cleaning sectors. Now, the company is taking the next step by extending comprehensive automation to an entire hotel complex.
